The Cemetery Administration (kyrkogårdsförvaltningen) is responsible for:
- Graves and memorial groves
- Different burial customs and burial options
- Chapels for various types of funeral ceremonies
- Information and advice about funerals
- Grave maintenance and care.

Photography and filming
Photography and filming for commercial, school or art projects require permission from the Cemetery Administration. Filming commercials and music videos is not permitted. Funeral services and burials always come first. For more information, please contact the Cemetery Administration.
Visitors Center

The Stockholm City Museum operates the Visitors Center and is also responsible for:
- Information about the world heritage site
- Public activities at Skogskyrkogården
- Guided tours.
