Through the pine forest, an almost 900-meter-long and straight road opens up from Almhöjden to the Chapel of Resurrection.
Along the path, there is time to reflect on life and death and prepare for the funeral ceremony in the Chapel of Resurrection. On the left side of the path, there is an area with birch trees planted in straight rows, a beautiful combination of the designed and the natural.
The path was originally a fire break in the pine forest. The architects utilized the long, straight path through the forest to create a beautiful path to walk together towards the Chapel of Resurrection. The plan was to place seven wells along the path, but they were never made.
